Some Information about our Wedding Cake Services.

Eloise's Pastries is located in Warrenton, Virginia, and we serve the surrounding Northern Virginia, DC area. Committed to serving only the best to our clients, we only do three weddings per weekend to ensure all our clients get the quality and attention they deserve.

Each tier of our cakes includes four layers of cake and three layers of filling. An exception may occur if the design of the cake is especially tall or short.

Wedding cake orders can be done through email correspondence and phone consultations, though a complimentary tasting is preferred and highly recommended.

We book weddings up to 18 months out, though our average clients books between 9 months to a year out. Last minute planner? You can absolutely call and check to see if by any chance we have an availability. If we can, we would love to be of service.

Our cakes are charged the slice, and the pricing is the same regardless of cake flavor or filling. There is a base artistic fee, and depending on the design as to whether or not there is an addition.

We offer both fondant and buttercream exterior cakes. However, since we use real butter in our buttercream, we do not offer buttercream tiered cakes in temperatures above 70F, as it will literally melt off the side of the cake. As we know fondant is a particular liking, we always put a full layer of buttercream underneath the fondant exterior.

Generally, venues within a 45 mile radius from the bakery are considered in our delivery radius. Delivery charges are by the distance involved, and the items being delivered. Specialty cakes are delivered by two of our Pastry Artists, and if there is particular set up time involved, that is reflected in the delivery charge.

A complimentary, no obligation tasting is a one hour appointment, for up to four people to come sample 3 cake flavors of their choosing. We will pair each cake flavor with at least 2 filling options. At the tasting design details are discussed and a quote is given within 72 hrs.

A contract is written once hired, and a 50% deposit is required at signing. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event.

Included in our services is a complimentary fresh first anniversary tier. We will send a reminder card before the date. The cake will either need to be picked up, or it can be shipped, though UPS shipping rates will apply.

Yes, we do make kitchen tiers. This is a non-decorated stacked cake tier, which is kept in the kitchen, but when served looks identical to your "displayed cake" servings, and is a great solution for additional servings.

Styrofoam faux tiers: yes, we can absolutely involve them in your design. This is a great option imparticularly for intimate weddings who would like the look of a traditional size wedding cake.

In order to ensure pristine arrival on our Northern Virginia roads, Eloise's uses a non-disposable cake structure for our tiered cakes. We leave a box at the venue for it to placed in at the end of the event, and it is the client's responsibility to either assign someone to return it to us within five business days after the event (this can be mailed or dropped off).

Cake stands: Eloise's is happy to loan one of our cake stands, who do have multiple to choose from, though it is "first come's choice". There is a loaning fee, and is required to be returned to us within five business days of the wedding. If that does not happen a replacement fee will be charged.
