Packaged with care
All of our gourmet cakes and pastries are shipped nationwide via USPS, UPS or FedEx. All baked goods are individually packaged and sealed for freshness. They are carefully protected in an effort to avoid any mishaps. Further, we take great care to make certain the items we send nationwide will taste just as fresh as if you picked them up!
We take pride in our products and go to great lengths to ensure that ALL of our orders are completed and packaged in a timely manner. As we package carefully to prevent breakage, please handle with care when removing your items from the shipping box.
As we use only natural ingredients with no preservatives or chemicals, the life of your item can be extended by either refrigerating for a week or freezing for up to 3 months. (Be certain to place packaged items in a freezer safe bag or container).
Items will generally remain fresh after arrival for 4 - 5 days. Please allow the items to reach room temperature before enjoying as that's when they taste their best!
Our breads and cookies can frequently be shipped ground via UPS, FedEx, and USPS
We cannot be responsible for delayed or undelivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. When possible UPS/FedEx will correct addresses for a $10 surcharge. Please make sure that you have provided the correct zip code, apartment and/or street number, as well as the correct street designation (Blvd., Rd., Ave., etc.) to avoid this surcharge. To expedite the process and ensure delivery we instruct UPS/FedEx/USPS that no signature is required. Any of these carriers, by way of sole discretion, may disregard the release of signature if the carrier feels the location "unsafe" for any reason; we have no control over this. We also have no responsibility if we are sending something to a multiple family dwelling with a mail room.
We use nationally known, reputable carriers and do everything we can to ensure the reliable transfer of an order from us to you. However, we are not responsible for items not delivered or delayed due to incorrect information, weather, arbitrary decisions by one of the carriers, or other circumstances beyond our control, including the absence of the recipient.
Perishable items are not returnable. We are not responsible for delivery delays or damage from long exposure to the elements due to the recipient not being available to promptly bring a delivery inside. Rarely is there an issue, but should your package arrive in poor condition, please contact us to see if there is anything we can do. Call us at 540-764-0113.
