Eloise’s Pastries, the heirloom bakery, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, was formally established in 2010. Eloise’s is an amalgamation of Mille’s passion since childhood and a lifetime of adventures carrying her near and far. The result is a uniquely wonderful bakery where service matters, only outstanding natural and mostly organic ingredients (No hormones, no antibiotics ever), are combined in purposefully small batches to create baked goods which are rich in flavor and exceptional in quality;

  in short : they are fabulous!  

As happens sometimes in life a major event causes a re-direction. This was the case for Mille, when her youngest daughter was struck by a catastrophic illness, leaving her fully physically dependent. As her caregiver, Mille made the decision to re-imagine the bakery, it’s operation and her home. She has outfitted her home to house the bakery, it’s commercial appliances, her team of bakers, decorators and office personnel. For everyone’s happiness, the bakery is fully licensed, insured and state inspected.

From wedding cakes, to the monthly bread boxes, gluten-free monthly baskets, and wholesale orders, no order - great or small receives less than our highest standards. We bake items you can feel good about - even if they count as your sweet treat for the day! Though having now received numorous awards and publications, the highest reward Eloise's Pastries can receive is from our clients - "that is the best I have ever had." 

 

About Mille

 

Mille is the owner of Eloise’s Pastries, the heirloom bakery located in Warrenton VA, where she is licensed and insured to operate from her home as she also cares for her fully physically dependent adult daughter. Her love of baking began at the age of 8 with a fully decorated tiered cake, and she has not looked back since. Though her adult professional life has taken many turns - including children's party planning and international fund raising for non-profits, her dream of owning her own bakery was realized in 2010. When not running the bakery, she divides her time with her dogs, reading, and her daughters.
