  1. We are Located in ~
    We are located in Warrenton, VA, and we serve Northern and Central Virginia, Washington DC and a limited part of Southern Maryland. We are committed to providing only white glove service to our clients. We only accepts a limited number of weddings per weekend to ensure each couple has the attention they deserve and can count on.
  2. Each Tier Includes -
    Each tier of our cakes includes four layers of cake and three layers of filling. An exception may occur if the design of the cake is especially tall or short.
  3. You Can Order By -
    Wedding cake orders can be done through email correspondence and phone consultations, though a complimentary tasting is preferred and highly recommended. Once your order is confirmed a contract is written and a 50% deposit is required upon signing. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event.
  4. We Book Wedding Cakes Up to -
    We book weddings up to 18 months out, though our average client books between 9 months to a year out. Last minute planner? You can absolutely call and check to see if by any chance we have an availability. If we can, we would love to be of service.
  5. We Price Our Cakes By -
    Our cakes are charged by the slice, and the pricing is the same regardless of cake flavor and filling type. There is a base artistic fee, and depending on the design as to whether or not there is an addition.
  6. Fondant and Buttercream Exteriors -
    We offer both fondant and buttercream exterior cakes. However, as we use real butter in our buttercream, we do not offer buttercream tiered cakes in temperatures above 72F, as it will literally melt off the cake. Our fondant is always placed on top of a full buttercream finish. You will have an opportunity to try the fondant.
  7. Our Delivery Radius -
    Generally, venues within a 45 mile radius from the bakery are considered in our delivery area. Delivery is charged by the distance - a set up fee will be included if anytime is needed at the venue to complete the cake or dessert bar. All of our specialty cakes are delivered by 2 of our Pastry Artists.
  8. Cake Stands -
    We are happy to rent one of our cake stands, we do have multiple to choose from, though it is first come, first choice. There is a $25 rental fee, and is required to be returned to us within five business days of the wedding. If that does not happen a replacement fee will be charged.
  9. Fresh First Anniversary Cake -
    Included in our services is a complimentary fresh first anniversary cake. We will send a reminder card before the date. The cake will either need to be picked up, or it can be shipped, though UPS shipping rates will apply.
  10. Kitchen Tiers -
    A kitchen tier is an undecorated stacked cake, finished with either buttercream or fondant to correspond with the display cake. It is kept in the kitchen to be pre-sliced, as to accelerate service, and once plated looks identical to the slices being served from the "display cake". This is a great solution for additional servings and to help ease the budget.
  11. Faux Styrofoam Tiers -
    Styrofoam faux tier(s)? Yes, we can absolutely involve them in your design. This is a great option particularly for intimate weddings who would like the look of a traditional size wedding cake.
  12. Cake Structure -
    In order to ensure pristine arrival on our Northern Virginia roads, we use a non-disposable cake structure for some of our tiered cake designs. We leave a box at the venue for it to placed in at the end of the event, and it is the client's responsibility to return it to us within five business days after the event (this can be mailed or dropped off).
